Thomas Coldwell joined Veterinarians Without Borders North America/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Amérique du Nord (VWB/VSF) in February 2022 and is currently the Program Manager, Volunteer Engagement. Passionate about international cooperation, Thomas has been working with humanitarian relief and development organizations for the past eight years, including coordinating experiential learning programs and engaging with partners in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining VWB/VSF, Thomas coordinated global citizenship education initiatives at the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation (ACGC) and has a strong background in project management, volunteer management, public engagement, and leadership. He holds an honour’s degree in sociology and a master’s in international development specializing in gender studies from the University of Ottawa.
