Project Manager, Community Animal Health Worker (CAHW) Program
Location: Remote (Canada-based with travel to Northwest Territories and Nunavut; open only to Canadian citizens and permanent residents)
Reports to: Program Manager, Companion Animals
Contract term: Full-time (12-month, renewable contract)
Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 CAD annually
Description: We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of VWB/VSF’s Community Animal Health Worker (CAHW) Program across northern Canada. Working closely with the Animal Health team, this role will coordinate project planning and delivery, training and mentorship activities, community engagement, partnerships, monitoring and reporting, and travel and operational logistics. The Project Manager will work closely with Indigenous communities, local leadership, northern partners, veterinarians, mentors, and facilitators to support sustainable, community-led animal health services. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills, with experience working with northern, remote, rural, or Indigenous communities.
Clinic Officer

Description: We are seeking a Clinic Officer to support the planning and delivery of VWB/VSF’s temporary veterinary clinics in remote northern communities. Working closely with the Program Manager, this role will coordinate volunteers, clinic logistics, inventory and travel planning, provide on-site operational and community engagement support, and build strong year-round relationships with community members and partners. The ideal candidate will be a veterinary technologist with relevant clinical experience, strong program-planning and organizational skills, experience leading volunteers, and a commitment to improving access to veterinary services in remote communities.
