Veterinarians Without Borders North America is expanding our Animals & Ales Photo Contest for our very first our very first Animals & Ales U.S., happening May 31 – June 16, 2024. Pet owners just like you will have the chance to submit a photo of their pet, collect as many votes as possible from family and friends ($1 = 1 vote*) and by doing so, raise important funds for veterinary care and programs to support animals and communities in need**. The winning pet from each of our brewery partners will be featured on a label of their limited release bottles or cans.
*No purchase necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited. Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 21 years of age. All federal, state, local and municipal regulations and laws apply. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Contest is void in the State of Utah. Entry requirements: To enter the contest, you must create a GoGo Photo Contest account and fill out the entry for the VWB/VSF Animals and Ales US Photo Contest via this link: https://www.vwb.org/site/animals-and-ales-usa during the Contest Period. It’s free to enter the contest. Follow the instructions provided to submit your entry with the brewery you wish to participate with (listed above). Limit 2 entries per person. Entries submitted by any other method will be disqualified. By submitting an entry to the contest, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor.
All funds raised will help animals and communities that lack access to veterinary care, including right here in Canada, as well as in areas like Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. Veterinarians Without Borders North America also responds to crises and emergencies, worldwide, and is currently providing emergency support in Ukraine and South Sudan to address the growing needs of animals and communities.
If you are 21+ and a legal resident of the United States (except for the state of Utah), you can enter and vote in VWB/VSF's Animals & Ales US Photo Contest. One thing to keep in mind: winners will have to visit the breweries in person to access the winning brews.
Eligibility: The 2024 Animals & Ales US Photo Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 21 years of age, excluding employees, officers, directors, volunteers, agents, and board members of Veterinarians Without Borders North America/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Amérique du Nord (VWB/VSF), as well as their immediate family and household members. Any entries received from an ineligible participant or which otherwise violate these Official Rules will be disqualified. All federal, state, local and municipal regulations and laws apply. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Contest is void in the State of Utah.

#VETSVolunteerVoices aims to bring you the stories of our passionate VETS program volunteers from the field. Meet Madalyn Nielsen, a Gender Advisor Volunteer who spent 3 months in rural Kenya (May - August 2024).
Thousands of stray animals, many of which were previously cared for by animal welfare groups, individuals, or shelters, are now going unvaccinated – creating dangerous situations for people who encounter them. It’s estimated that over one million dogs in Ukraine are homeless – many living in frontline areas that are increasingly difficult for animal health providers to visit.
In partnership with Action Against Hunger USA, VWB recently completed a 14-day vaccination campaign in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, South Sudan, vaccinating over 57,000 livestock and empowering communities.
