Carol Murray

Carol Murray is Director of Development with Veterinarians Without Borders North America/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Amérique du Nord.

Director of Development

Carol joined VWB in November 2025, bringing more than two decades of experience leading fundraising strategy across the nonprofit sector, with a focus on health and community services. She is known for growing funds raised, strengthening donor relationships, and building high-performing teams.

Before joining VWB, Carol served as Director of Annual and Legacy Giving at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Medicine. She earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2009 and is a Past Chair of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Nova Scotia.

Carol advises local charities in Halifax and is passionate about values-based leadership and two-way mentorship. Based in Halifax, she is also a proud aunt to three four-legged companions — Pixie, Clover, and Benny.
