Over the past year, Veterinarians Without Borders North America (VWB) has worked alongside communities and partners across the globe to strengthen animal health systems, expand access to veterinary care, and support healthier animals, people and environments. This September, we’re inviting you to join us for a one-hour virtual event bringing the VWB community together to reflect on the past year and look ahead to what’s next for us!

A Year of Stories, Impact and Progress

Through stories, highlights and voices from across the globe, we’ll showcase the people, partnerships and progress that shaped VWB’s work this year — and the impact we’re making together for animals, people and the environments they share.

From strengthening community-centred animal health systems and supporting livestock-dependent livelihoods to expanding access to veterinary care in underserved communities, VWB Live 2026 will take you inside a year of VWB in action.

We’ll also look ahead to VWB’s next chapter, with insights from our leadership and Board on emerging priorities and opportunities, followed by a live Q&A where you’ll have the chance to join the conversation.

Whether you’re a donor, volunteer, partner, colleague, longtime supporter or simply interested in learning more about VWB, we hope you’ll join us.

What to Expect

  • A Year of VWB in Action: Travel across VWB’s work through stories, images, milestones and voices from the people and partners who helped make this year’s impact possible. We’ll share some of the highlights, accomplishments and moments that defined the past year across our programs.
  • Stories Behind the Impact: Meet members of the VWB community and hear about the experiences, partnerships and perspectives behind the work — from volunteers and program partners to the supporters who help make it possible.
  • What’s Next for VWB: Where do we go from here? Hear from VWB leadership about where the organization is headed, the opportunities ahead and how our work continues to evolve as we build on more than 20 years of experience.
  • Join the Conversation: Bring your questions! VWB Live will include an extended live Q&A with Executive Director Janine Mitchell and members of VWB’s Board, giving you an opportunity to ask questions, hear directly from organizational leadership and join the conversation about VWB’s work and future.

Be Part of What's Next

VWB’s work is powered by people — communities, partners, volunteers, donors and supporters who believe healthier animals can help build healthier, more resilient communities. Join us on September 18 to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together and be part of the conversation.

Register today — we’d love to see you there!

Veterinarians Without Borders North America couldn't do the work we do without your support. Whether it's a financial donation or a donation of your time, by improving the health of animals you will be working to improve the health and quality of life for people throughout the world.
