Double Your Impact This Holiday Season

MATCH YOUR GIFT

Until December 31, every dollar you give will be matched 2× to fuel veterinary care, training, and emergency support for animals and the people who love them.

This holiday season, your compassion travels twice as far.

From the frontlines of Ukraine to the far North of Canada, and across communities in Ghana, Senegal, and Cambodia, your gift delivers lifesaving care where no veterinarian is available.

In Ukraine, it means a second chance for animals like Molly, rescued from the Donetsk region and now living safely in France. In Northern Canada, it means training Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs) who bring veterinary care closer to home. And in Cambodia, it means empowering women like Venn Samphor to protect animals and inspire the next generation of local leaders.

Because when the people who love animals have what they need, whole communities get healthier.

See your DOUBLED impact in action

Here is what your matched year-end gift powers across the globe:

🐕 Train more Community Animal Health Workers across Northern Canada, Ghana, Senegal and Cambodia so animals get help close to home.

💉 Provide preventive vaccines and spay/neuter clinics that keep pets healthy and families safe from disease.

🌍 Deliver food and medicine for pets and livestock in communities facing crisis or isolation.

🚐 Work with local partners to rescue and transport animals in conflict zones in Ukraine, bringing them to safety and care.

Every gift counts, and until December 31 it’s doubled to go twice as far for animals and the people who care for them.**

MATCH YOUR GIFT

Your gift will go even farther, making a lasting impact that includes:

👉 Care close to home

In Canada’s North, your support ensures we can partner by invitation with communities to run temporary clinics and train local leaders year-round. Your doubled donation helps us reach twice as many communities where access shouldn't depend on a long, expensive trip.

👉 Prevention that protects livelihoods

Across all our programs, we train Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs). Your matched funds mean we can train more neighbours to vaccinate, deworm, and spot issues early, keeping animals healthy and household income stable for twice as many families who depend on them.

👉 Emergency response where it's needed most

Your compassion crosses borders, even into crisis zones. In places like Ukraine, your donation helps rescue and care for lost or abandoned pets left behind by conflict, providing double the resources for food, medicine, and lifesaving treatment during emergencies.

One Health in Action
That’s the power of the One Health approach you support. You don’t just treat an animal; you help communities build solutions that stop problems before they spread across species and across borders. Our One Health model connects animals, people, and the environment as one system of care. Your support builds that connection, from training local leaders and running clinics by invitation in Northern Canada to delivering vaccines and education that protect livelihoods across Africa and Asia.

Because of donors like you, One Health isn't just a slogan; it’s how your matched gift travels, creating a ripple of health and hope that reaches every community.

Trained Neighbour → Vaccine Vial → Safer Household → Healthier Community

*Donations will be doubled up to $75,000 until Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST, thanks to a generous matching donor. For monthly gifts, only the first month’s donation will be doubled.

**Your unrestricted donations don’t just support one cause—they cover all the vast needs of VWB's programs, ensuring that we can improve animal health, enhance human safety, and build strong, self-sufficient communities across North America and beyond.
