Double Your Impact This Holiday Season

MATCH YOUR GIFT

Until December 31, every dollar you give will be matched 2× to fuel veterinary care, training, and emergency support for animals and the people who love them.

Your compassion travels twice as far.

This winter, your compassion reaches animals in the places where care is urgently needed. In Ukraine, many animals are injured, abandoned, or displaced by conflict and rely on our local partners, 12 Guards*, to reach them in time. In Northern Canadian communities, pets can be hundreds of kilometres from the nearest veterinarian and depend on trained Community Animal Health Workers and visiting VWB teams for essential care.

Give by December 31 and your donation will be matched**, helping twice as many animals survive, heal, and stay safe.

See your DOUBLED impact in action

Here is what your matched year-end gift powers across the globe:

🐕 Train and support Community Animal Health Workers in Northern Canadian communities so animals receive care close to home.

💉 Provide preventive vaccines, health checks and spay/neuter clinics that keep pets healthy and families safe from disease.

🌍 Deliver food and medicine for animals in communities facing crisis or isolation.

🚐 Work with local partners, 12 Guards, to rescue and transport animals in conflict zones in Ukraine, bringing them to safety.

Every gift counts, and until December 31 it’s doubled to go twice as far for animals and the people who care for them.

MATCH YOUR GIFT

Your gift will go even farther, making a lasting impact that includes:

👉 Care close to home

In Canada’s North, your support ensures we can partner by invitation with communities to run temporary clinics and train local leaders year-round. Your doubled donation helps us reach twice as many communities where access shouldn't depend on a long, expensive trip.

👉 Community led prevention

By training more Community Animal Health Workers (CAWHs), your matched donation equips trusted neighbours to provide first aid, vaccines, and early intervention for common illnesses. This keeps pets healthier year round and reduces suffering in remote regions where veterinary care is far away.

👉 Emergency response where it's needed most

Your compassion crosses borders, even into crisis zones. In places like Ukraine, your donation helps rescue and care for lost or abandoned pets left behind by conflict, providing double the resources for food, medicine, and lifesaving treatment during emergencies.

How your gift creates real, lasting change
From Ukraine to Canada’s North and beyond, your support strengthens the entire network of care that animals rely on. Your gift does more than respond to an immediate need. It helps rescuers reach animals in danger, equips neighbours to step in when a pet is hurt, and ensures communities have support when there is no veterinarian nearby.

Your unrestricted donations do not just support one cause. They help cover the full range of VWB programs so we can protect animal health, support families, and build stronger, more resilient communities wherever the need is greatest.

Because of donors like you, your matched gift creates a powerful chain of care:

Trained local leader → First treatment → Healthier pet → Stronger community

Rescue team → Safe transport → Shelter → Second chances

*12 Guards is not associated with the Ukraine military.

**Donations will be doubled up to $60,000 until Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST, thanks to a generous matching donor. For monthly gifts, only the first month’s donation will be doubled.
