Triple your impact!

GIVE NOW

You can provide animals and communities with essential access to animal health care and training.

Love animals. Strengthen communities. Triple the impact.

In remote and underserved communities, a simple vaccine or basic check-up can mean the difference between life and death. Without local support, animals suffer and entire communities are at risk from diseases like rabies.

This Giving Tuesday, your triple-matched* gift doesn’t just treat animals. It builds sustainable animal health systems by funding the training of Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs) and empowering local leaders to provide consistent, essential care year-round. It also helps deliver emergency food, medicine, and evacuations for animals caught in conflict zones in Ukraine.

In many of the countries where we work, there are few veterinarians, and most serve in government roles at a supervisory level. Even if more vets were available, small farmers and community members couldn’t afford their services. CAHWs fill the gap.

These trained community leaders bring lifesaving care such as vaccinations, treatments, and early disease detection directly to the animals that sustain livelihoods. With training, starter supplies, and ongoing mentorship, CAHWs protect animals from deadly diseases, safeguard human health, and help families build more secure futures. Because they live within the same communities, they understand local needs and ensure ongoing, trusted care.

Your gift powers them. Veterinarians Without Borders North America (VWB) works with local partners and communities worldwide to build sustainable animal health care that gives both animals and people a healthier, more hopeful future.

Triple your impact this Giving Tuesday by training more CAHWs and providing emergency food, medicine, and care to animals in need — from remote communities to conflict zones in Ukraine. Together, borders don’t matter — health does.
